Sunday 31 May:
ABC1 Australia 7:30PM - Planet Of The Dead
Monday 1 June:

Wednesday 3 June:

Saturday 20 June:
SPACE Canada 9:30PM EDT - Planet Of The Dead (Canada covered in This Week In
Doctor Who Western Hemisphere)
First, as you can see in the upcoming premiere broadcasts, New Zealand Doctor
Who fans have a day and time for Planet Of The Dead, the newest Doctor Who
episode. It has been mentioned on the NZDWFC forum http://nzdwfc.tetrap.com that
Planet is airing 51 days after the UK premiere, the closest an episode has ever
aired in New Zealand to the UK premiere.
The secret is out - on May 9th I took part in a special recording for the DWO
Whocast http://www.thewhocast.com along with Chip of the Two Minute Time Lord
and the regular Whocast hosts. Listed as Episode 118 of the Whocast, it is the
first of two episodes. 119 features the views of various Doctor Who podcasters
and should be out before most of you get this column. Why can't Doctor Who air
at the same time around the world? Why the delays? It's not technology. These
points and more were hashed out among us. It's a good episode. Be aware that we
used Skype. Also, due to time issues, Chip and I were doing this at 6AM, and our
voices do suffer a bit. Very honored to be involved.
The show was inspired in part by my recent manifest on Doctor Who and
international broadcasting. Find it at
http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/thisweekindoctorwho/message/860 . I think the
issue bugs everybody, and we all are searching for answers in our own way. How
do we get the new episodes available at the same time everywhere?
For press releases on Doctor Who, keep an eye on the BBC Press Office
http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice and C21 Media http://www.c21media.net .
Listings for North and South America are in This Week In Doctor Who Western
Hemisphere. Sarah Jane Adventures, K9 and Podcasts are in This Week In Doctor
Who Spinoffs. Torchwood info is in Torchwood This Week.
